DTF print
Direct-to-film printing puts full-colour artwork onto almost any fabric or colour, with photographic detail cut vinyl cannot reach.
Made for the job, not just the mock-up.
DTF prints your artwork onto a film, bonds it with an adhesive layer, then heat-presses it into the garment. Because the colour is carried on its own white base, it stays bright on black and dark fabrics instead of sinking into them.
It is the most flexible finish we offer: cotton, polyester and blends all take it, and gradients, photographs and fine multi-colour detail come through cleanly. Send the artwork you have and the studio will confirm the best size and position before anything is pressed.

What to know
- A DTF print sits on the surface of the fabric, so it has a slightly different feel to embroidery.
- Very large prints on heavyweight waterproof or heat-sensitive fabrics may need another method — ask the studio first.
- Wash inside out at low temperature and avoid ironing directly over the print to keep it looking new.
