Embroidery Vinyl Print
At The Embroidery Shed, we accommodate for customers who would prefer a Vinyl finish instead of an embroidered one. For more examples of our work, see the Facebook and Instagram links below.
Vinyl Print, is where a pattern or text is cut out of Heat Transfer Vinyl sheet specifically made for garments. Once the Vinyl has been successfully cut out and weeded, it is then laid on top of the garment and pressed together by a heat press operating at around 150 Degrees Celsius. The heat and pressure ensure that the adhesive on the vinyl adheres properly to the garment.
From file to finish
How it works
A short, visible approval path keeps the artwork and the finished order aligned.
- 01
Share the brief
Tell us the garment, position, size and wording for each piece.
- 02
Artwork check
We confirm the design can be cut cleanly and the fabric can take the application.
- 03
Layout approval
Names, numbers and logos are set to a consistent visual size.
- 04
Heat applied
Each piece is pressed at the correct time, temperature and pressure.
What to know
- Highly detailed artwork and photographic images are not suitable for cut vinyl.
- Some coated, waterproof or heat-sensitive fabrics need another method.
- Wash garments inside out and avoid high heat to protect the applied finish.
Not sure which method fits your artwork? Send it to the studio and we will recommend the finish we would use ourselves.
