UK delivery is £5.99 + VAT, free when you spend over £100 + VAT. Most orders are made in 5–10 working days, then delivered in 1–2 working days.
Getting it to you
Delivery
The Embroidery Shed ships UK orders and offers free collection from the Chesterfield studio by arrangement.
You'll get delivery details when your order leaves the studio. Delivery takes place at the purchaser's premises unless agreed otherwise.
If you need workwear urgently, contact us before ordering so we can check what is possible for your garments and artwork.
Made to order
Lead times
Standard manufacturing lead time is 5–10 working days from order placement. Please then allow 1–2 working days for delivery.
Orders that need new artwork, changes to artwork, or proof approval do not enter production until the proof is signed off. Any changes can affect the delivery date.

Returns policy
Returns
Standard-range items can be returned within 28 days if they are unused, in original packaging and suitable for resale. Customised goods are different.
Unless incorrectly supplied or faulty, we cannot accept returns for goods that have been embroidered, badged, printed, assembled to your requirements, or specially procured for your order.
How to start a return
- Email us with your order number and what you'd like to return.
- We confirm whether the item is returnable under the policy.
- Returns can take up to 15 working days to be processed.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faults, shortages and damage
Order issues
Shortages, damage, production errors or non-delivery should be reported by telephone within 48 hours and confirmed in writing within 3 working days of dispatch.
If goods arrive with production or manufacturing errors, The Embroidery Shed reserves the right to correct those errors before offering a replacement or refund.
Please check the size guide before ordering embroidered garments. We cannot accept returns once items have been embroidered unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
